Nueva Cinchona

Facoli won the bid from the National Emergency Commission (CNE, in Spanish) for the construction of 91 houses in New Cinchona in September 2010 after the devastation caused by the September 2009 earthquake. Facoli was chosen as a result of its features in earthquake-resistance, quality of the reinforced concrete walls, rapid installation, guarantees and competitive pricing.

New Cinchonas houses were meant for the mid rural socioeconomic sector. The houses have areas of 67, 80 and 90m2 with nice finishes (ceramic floors, wooden doors, aluminum window sills, gypsum ceilings and ceramic covered bathrooms). The project was built in just 75 days even though it had a 90 day due date. Residents were impressed with the high quality and speed Facoli’s building system provides. For Facoli it was an honor and a privilege to work in this project which provided well-being for many of the families affected by the 2009 earthquake.
